"If there was a radio station that has cult status, it's WWOZ, best known amongst it's
fans as OZ and during early November, were listening to the annual WWOZ Fall Membership
Fund Drive. During the drive, there were an estimated 220 volunteers and a number of
musicians who dropped in to say Hi, or perform, including John Boutte, Irma Thomas and the
DUKES of Dixieland, who wrote & performed a song for OZ".
