The DUKES will be performing in their 40th Straight Jazz Fest on Saturday May 4th (Time and Stage TBA). The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival will be held the last weekend of April and first weekend of May at the New Orleans Fair Grounds and Race Course. Having started in 1970 The Jazz and Heritage Festival has been one of the longest continuing Festivals in the United States. 

The Festival celebrates the indigenous music and culture of New Orleans and Louisiana, so the music encompasses every style associated with the city and the state: blues, R&B, gospel music,Cajun music, zydeco, Afro-Caribbean, folk music, Latin, rock, rap music, country music, bluegrass and everything in between. And of course there is lots of jazz, both contemporary and traditional.
